Backyard Scientists – Red Hot Rocket Knife

The Backyard Scientists returned with a popular experiment to see what a knife that is heated to 1,000 degrees can slice through when flying down a track at 150 mph. After heating the knife, they light a rocket on the back of the knife to send it hurtling towards items placed on the far end of the track, including a loaf of bread, wooden blocks, and lighters.

The description stated:

“You all gave me so many good ideas last week, I had to try some more. The rocket track is going on the shelf for now, ill bring it back soon, hopefully with a faster camera!”
